swcomms puts Community Team in the driving seat

The Community team at Premiership rugby club Exeter Chiefs has taken delivery of two vans courtesy to the club’s main sponsor swcomms.

The team collected the keys from swcomms' MD Brian Lodge and Commercial Director Jon Whiley at the comms provider's HQ.

“We have supported the work of the community department since its inception," stated Whiley. "We understand the important contribution they make to promoting and supporting grassroots rugby.

"These vans ensure the team can easily visit schools, clubs and other organisations in our region to continue their terrific work.”

swcomms also services and insures both vans as part of their sponsorship package.

Exeter Chiefs Community department runs multiple social change and social engagement programmes working with a variety of people from across the local community.

They also run match-day experiences as well as community camps and clinics to help those already involved in the game.

Andrew Dudley, Exeter Chiefs Community Development Manager, added: “It is fantastic to have the continued support of swcomms in helping to drive the club’s community department forward. Their help provides us with a platform to reach the entirety of the South West and allows us to continue to carry out our work on all fronts.”
