swcomms delivers ALE system for new £40m Hotel

swcomms has deployed a 300-user Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise OXE telephony solution for the new £40m Courtyard by Marriott Exeter Sandy Park Hotel.

The solution will covers 250 rooms, reception, bar, restaurants and fitness areas while also directly integrating with its front of house software, Oracle Opera.

Room phones have been customised with Courtyard by Marriott branding and staff handsets are connected to the hotel wireless network.

Hotel founder Tony Rowe OBE said: “swcomms already provide and support us with Alcatel-Lucent products at Sandy Park Stadium, so this new solution was an ideal fit for the new hotel.

swcomms also supplied an on-site server, staff PCs and laptops.
