Poly has blended the partner programmes of its constituent businesses, Plantronics and Polycom, to create a unified portal that provides access to all assets, training, tools and content.
The new programme also shifts the evaluation of partner levels away from a focus on revenue, rewarding partners for investments they make in working with Poly, not just the number of devices they sell.
“We’ve reimagined our programme to encourage participation from a broad range of partners,” said Nick Tidd, vice president of global channel sales for Poly.
The new programme, which brings together more than 15,000 partners around the world between Plantronics and Polycom, is also designed so partners of all sizes can deliver customised solutions to customers.
Other aspects include a single instance of deal registration, performance dashboards and a real-time scorecard to make it easier to track partner standing.
The Poly University helps partners satisfy certification and specialisation requirements and offers elective learning.
