Full Fibre

Wessex internet has begun a full fibre rollout across Blandford set to connect 6,000 homes and businesses in the town.

Devon-based IT support firm Lineal has linked up with Jurrasic Fibre to boost broadband for companies in the West Country.

The speed of Openreach’s full fibre rollout has received a boost as AFL, a subsidiary of Fujikura, has opened a UK facility to manufacture a form of fibre cable that is new to Europe.

CityFibre and Vodafone have agreed a major expansion of their strategic partnership. 

Gigaclear has wrapped up its £21m BDUK rollout in West Oxfordshire, which has connected 30% of the region to full fibre.

CityFibre has begun its £12m FTTP rollout in Horsham and plans to cover almost every home and business by 2023/4.

Full Fibre has pledged that for every order placed to upgrade to full fibre broadband, it will release the funding required to plant a tree in one of the world’s endangered tropical forests.

CityFibre’s full fibre network is now available to over one million UK homes via more than 30 consumer ISPs.
