Full fibre wholesaler FibreNation has bolstered its leadership team with the appointment of Darren Woods as Chief Financial Officer.
His previous experience includes heading up change programmes including mergers and acquisitions, business-wide IT implementations, supply chain restructuring and outsourcing of transactional services across a range of sectors including construction, manufacturing and professional services.
FibreNation also hired Belinda Fearnley as Head of HR. She brings experience from a range of sectors including banking and financial services, utilities and retail.
CEO Neil McArthur said: “Darren and Belinda are hugely experienced in their respective fields. They will help to facilitate the next stage of our growth as we aim to reach our goal of bringing FTTP to three million homes and businesses across the UK in the next ten years, connecting our society.”
FibreNation was launched by TalkTalk in November 2018 as a wholesale FTTP operator. It functions as a separate company.
This year FibreNation will complete a network build of its gigabit-ready fibre to 54,000 homes and businesses in York.
The firm also announced work in Dewsbury, with projects in Harrogate, Ripon and Knaresborough to follow later this year.
