Evolve Business Group has achieved 1 Star Accreditation from Best Companies, a nationally recognised benchmark for measuring and improving workplace engagement, reflecting its dedication to investment in employees, their careers and wellbeing.
The achievement comes after extensive feedback from Evolve BG’s employees, who had the final word on the company’s performance in the Best Companies b-Heard employee engagement survey.
To earn accredited status, companies must receive a high score from their employees; receiving 1 Star is regarded as a strong achievement and means that a company is “Very Good” to work for.
In the Best Companies b-Heard employee engagement survey conducted earlier this year, 98% of employees agreed with the statement “my organisation encourages charitable activities”, 88% agreed that “this organisation is run on strong values and principles”, and 69% said that they were “happy with the balance between my work and home life.”
Evolve BG scored highly for its values and principles and commitment to career development.
This includes creating skilled apprenticeship opportunities with clear pathways to leadership roles, progression support throughout employees’ career journeys and providing a high level of autonomy in their roles.
Caroline Oxley, Head of People and Talent at Evolve BG (pictured) said: “We wanted to show our people that we hold the business to the same values and high standards we ask of them, so we made the decision to conduct our first ever employee engagement survey through the transparent and rigorous Best Companies accreditation process.”
Evolve BG hopes to achieve Best Companies 2 Star Accreditation in autumn 2025.
