Opus is claiming an industry first voice integration of Microsoft Teams and Mitel.
"Mitel users can leverage their existing telephony investments and offer users the choice of making and receiving calls via a deskphone, PC, tablet or mobile or a combination of end points to allow them to manage calls anywhere and on the device of their choice," stated Opus Sales Director Michael O’Donnell.
“Feedback from our existing Mitel customers told us they wanted a single solution that could integrate all the features and functionality from their existing Mitel UC, together with the collaboration features and functionality of Microsoft Teams into one single solution.
"Our technical, engineering and project teams have been working come up with a solution which we can deliver to our customers to provide them with the solution they are looking for.
"Having successfully completed trials with a number of customers, we are now first to market with the launch of our Microsoft Teams and Mitel Integration.”
Using a Direct Routing Business Telephony service from Gamma customers will also be able to add enterprise grade telephony to their Teams collaboration suite.
