Gamma has capitalised on the rising adoption of UC technology by joining the ranks of Operator Connect, an operator-managed programme that enables integrated PSTN calling to Teams.
Operator Connect enhances Gamma’s Teams telephony offering for customers and channel partners, with the vendor already enabling 250 thousand Teams seats via its Microsoft Teams Direct Routing and managed service offering, Cloud UCX.
Daryl Pile, Channel MD said: “We are pleased to work with Microsoft and can’t wait to start driving all the benefits of Microsoft Teams and the Operator Connect programme with our channel partners, given that opening up this rich opportunity for channel is critical to collective growth.
“While this initial phase requires Gamma to remain as the service provider to the customer, we have created a structure that allows the partner community access to this chapter of the Teams story.
Chris Wade, Chief Marketing and Product Officer at Gamma, added: “Over the past decade, we have supported Microsoft services through various previous iterations, including Lync and Skype for Business. Teams is one of the most successful incarnations of UC that Microsoft has given us.
“By combining our expertise with Microsoft’s operator-managed service, our customers will benefit from a service to easily maximise value from their Microsoft Teams environment.”
