Gamma has appointed Will Morey as its new Managing Director, in a promotion that will deepen current partner relationships, helping to shape the future of the channel and continue building on the company's strong foundations.
With almost 30 years of industry experience, Morey has spent time focusing on the channel and working closely with those in the industry across a broad mix of roles, from leadership positions in large distributors like Crane and Westcon, to co-founding and growing businesses such as Pragma, Candio and Techland.
Previous experience in central government helping to promote the UK technology sector internationally has also given the new MD appreciation for the challenges and opportunities partners face.
“In my new role, I’m using that experience to help make things great for our partners - whether it’s strengthening our relationships, evolving our propositions, or finding new ways to help resellers grow, I’m focused on making sure Gamma is that one partnership with endless possibilities,” explained Morey.
“I feel privileged to step into the role of Managing Director of the channel at Gamma. I’ve worked closely with many of our partners for years, and I see this as an opportunity to deepen those relationships; help shape the future of the channel and continue building on Gamma’s strong foundations.”
Morey will bring a blend of experience, energy, and empathy, alongside an understanding of pressures that customers face and what support is needed, and this will be crucial to the role alongside long-term thinking.
“I also love bringing energy to the job — whether that’s helping a new reseller scale or guiding strategy across the business.”
Within the new role, the MD hopes it will naturally evolve as the market changes, and he will continue to strengthen the support, solutions, and services that Gamma offers, while also keeping an eye on what’s next.
Morey concluded: “I’m particularly interested in how we help partners benefit from new opportunities in areas like customer experience, AI and managed services. I see the role as both a steward of what’s made Gamma successful so far, and a champion for the future — working alongside our partners to help them grow, adapt and lead.”
