Xperience beefs up business application play with GCC buy

Bowmark Capital-backed Xperience has boosted its business application play (notably ERP and CRM) with the acquisition of managed IT services provider GCC.

GCC supports over 600 clients in complementary sectors to Xperience including not for profit, professional services, wholesale, distribution and financial services.

The deal is Xperience's third in 24 month and its first since Bowmark Capital invested in the business in November 2022.

In two years the group's headcount has more than doubled to over 230 employees, client numbers have increased to 1,400 and turnover is now in excess of £30 million.

The GCC acquisition also broadens Xperience’s network of offices including Peterborough, Bury St Edmunds, Glasgow, Lisburn, London and Gloucester.

Xperience CEO Iain O’Kane (pictured) stated: “The acquisition is strategically important as Xperience continues to build out its business application capabilities and broadens its footprint in the UK.”

Chris Harthman, CEO, GCC, added: "Our ambition has always been to join forces with a company that shared our values and could continue to support our business strategy.”
