Google Cloud has given notice to customers that it is ending its IoT Core service in August 2023, telling end users to seek out partners over the next 12 months.
“Since launching IoT Core, it has become clear that our customers’ needs could be better served by our network of partners that specialize in IoT applications and services,” said a Google spokesperson.
IoT Core was launched in 2017 and is a managed service for device connections and management.
