swcomms powers up new energy business

South West Communications Group has signed a partnership agreement with Fidelity Energy to offer a new service to customers under the moniker swcomms-energy.

In partnering with Fidelity swcomms-energy will seek to help customers reduce their power consumption, minimise their carbon footprint and get the best value from their energy contracts.

swcomms-energy will also have the ability to work with a range of green suppliers whose products are generated from 100% renewable sources; and offer the installation of EV (electric vehicle) charging points, which can be branded to each customer’s preference.

Jon Whiley, the Commercial Director at swcomms, said: “This is an amazing opportunity for swcomms to move into a dynamic new sector that is undergoing fluid change, where companies are looking for energy businesses to bring an element of trust to the market place and to help them move to more sustainable forms of energy.

“As we already have a strong commercial relationship through the supply of IT/comms services to our customers, they are already aware of our commitment to service. swcomms-energy believes that this proven strong relationship will give our customers confidence in managing their energy needs.”

Fidelity Energy’s MD John Haw added: “We are confident that we will be able to offer significant price savings on swcomms' customers' business energy bills."
