Simon Bennett will take the role of MD Advanced Solutions UK&I at TD Synnex from December as Matt Child takes up his new post as head of European digital strategy.
Bennett has been with the company since the 2009 acquisition of SDG, where he was an internal sales and operations manager. Most recently within TD Synnex he has served as Senior Director of Enterprise Software and Cloud.
As SVP, digital, Europe, Child will be stepping into the shoes of Andy Gass, who is retiring from the business in January 2024, after a 30-year career at the company.
Matt Child stated: “We’ve made tremendous strides and achieved a great deal in key areas of technology growth for our partners.
“As head of the cloud and enterprise software business, Simon has made a valuable contribution to the advancement and progression of the business.”
