North has appointed Andrew Foster as the MD for its Public Services division to drive adoption of new technologies in the sector.
Foster has experience in local authorities, professional bodies, and the private sector. Most recently he served as Regional MD for Capita's Local Public Services business.
Prior to this he spent two decades working in local government and later became COO at the Chartered Trading Standard Institute.
He said: "The public sector is currently under immense pressure to reduce costs whilst simultaneously maintaining the provision of services to their communities as well as finding ways to benefit from the deployment of new technologies and consequently needs partners to help navigate these challenges and adapt to the evolving landscape.”
