Vapour will be working throughout 2023 to raise funds for Military vs Cancer which provides relief to cancer patients, their families, and formally appointed carers across the British Isles.
The company’s fundraising calendar is already filling up with an autumn ball, kayak around Loch Lomond, and guided tour of HMS Victory on the cards.
The charity has been registered since May 2022, armed with a board of trustees and roster of supporters, so far tallying a total of £98,000 in donations.
Donations were previously split between Macmillan and Cancer Research but will soon be shared further afield, including to UK cancer support and information centre, Maggie’s, and individuals within the military.
Vapour’s UC 2023 Charity Champion, Graeme McCabe, added: “There’s very few people who can say cancer hasn’t had an impact on their life in some way, shape, or form.
“The charity may be young, but it’s certainly ambitious and their impressive fundraising total is testament to the team’s collective efforts.”
