Five members of the Excalibur team spent the day volunteering at The Haven Day Centre on May 25th, revamping the exterior of the emergency accommodation building.
Part of the Swindon Night Shelter organisation, the Haven is open 365 days a year and provides food to 800 people each month through its food share initiative.
Dawn Prosser, Manager of The Haven said: “The Haven a place where guests are provided with meals, a passage to other support agencies and access to necessities including showering and laundry.
“As well as these vital facilities, we also run regular activities throughout the week, including woodwork, gardening, cooking and art.”
