Copilot launch a catalyst for partner growth, says Giacom

Microsoft has made its AI-powered virtual assistant Copilot available to small businesses and will remove the 300-seat purchase minimum for commercial plans.

Copilot for Microsoft 365 became generally available for enterprises in November and some Microsoft partners were part of an early access programme.

One of these partners, Giacom, believes that the general availability of Copilot presents an opportunity for partners to boost their portfolio and productivity.

Carl Oliver, Head of Product at Giacom, said: “Partners can use powerful AI technology to create intelligent, data-driven solutions and save businesses time, money and stress.

“Early results from businesses which have been using Copilot’s beta version highlight its capabilities. 70 per cent of users said Copilot had made them more productive, with 68% saying it had improved the quality of their work.”
