Dublin-based IT Distributor DataSolutions has committed to carbon neutrality by 2022 and is set to launch its Techies Go Green movement with the goal of connecting tech-oriented companies keen to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030.
DataSolutions has already moved its ERP system and other corporate applications to the cloud, adding electrical cars and charging points and cutting down business travel to meet its goal of becoming the first carbon-neutral IT distributor by 2022.
Michael O’Hara, MD, said: “We are taking action and calling on businesses across the UK and Ireland IT and technology communities to join us on this sustainability journey.”
