Capito signs Armed Forced Covenant.

Capito has signed the Armed Forces Covenant, a pledge to acknowledge the contribution of serving personnel, veterans and military families.

The IT MSP is seeking to support the employment of veterans, recognising military skills and qualifications in its recruitment and selection process and is working with the Career Transition Partnership (CTP) to offer a tailored employment pathway for service leavers.

Capito is guaranteeing all service leavers, and their spouses or partners, with interviews where they meet the minimum selection criteria.

"Capito’s diverse team includes a number of veterans and current reservists,” said Capito's HR Advisor, Rachael Millar.

“By pledging our commitment to them, we hope to attract more service personnel to Capito to further grow and strengthen our team."

Capito states it is endeavouring to offer a degree of flexibility in granting leave for Service spouses and partners before, during and after deployment and is supporting employees who are members of the Reserve Forces to accommodate their training.

It is also encouraging members of staff to become volunteer leaders in cadet organisations.
