Version 1 has acquired Farsight Consulting to add around €20m in revenue and 133 members of staff.

Farsight Consulting is a UK based company delivering digital transformation projects with organisations across the public sector.

The companies have already collaborated on several large-scale government projects, and this will evolve to all customers and prospects in this space.

Tom O’Connor, CEO at Version 1, said: “Farsight operates a closely matched model to ours, so we will be able to quickly realise the synergies and pass on the benefits straight away to our customers. We look forward with anticipation to making this happen.”

Pete Masters, Founder and Chairman of Farsight, added: “Our combined efforts will accelerate our mission which has always been to solve complex problems in a way that makes a real difference to users and to society.”

The deal is subject to clearance by the National Security and Investment Act 2021.
