Softcat Managing Director Colin Brown is to stand down on July 31st.
He will be replaced Richard Wyn Griffiths, currently Director of Solutions, Services and Marketing, who joined the firm in 2002.
CEO Graeme Watt said Brown's decision to leave had not been an overnight one, with succession planning well underway since he informed the board of his intentions.
Brown joined Softcat in 2012 from Microsoft where he was UK services chief.
