Saudi project in the pipeline for Optilan

Bluewater-backed integrator Optilan will provide a series of communication security systems on the Jubail – Riyadh Water Transmission System in Saudi Arabia.

The contract adds to the Coventry-based company’s recent critical infrastructure projects across Europe, Asia and the Middle East and signals further international growth, according to CEO Bill Bayliss.

He said: “With this project we are on track to achieve our strategic aims and continue with global expansion.”

Optilan will provide Lan and WAN networks, cabinets and key leak detection systems to help the pipeline transport 1.2m m³ of potable water per day.
