Wessex Internet has appointed Rob Dawson as CFO as the Dorset-based ISP looks to accelerate its full fibre rollout.
Dawson brings 18 years of executive level financial experience, having most recently served as Group CFO at Rare Restaurants.
He is now responsible for financial planning and strategy to accelerate the company’s roll out of full fibre networks across Dorset, Wiltshire and South Somerset.
CEO Hector Gibson Fleming said: "We are entering a five-year period of investment to expand our full fibre network to rural communities and Rob’s expertise is an invaluable addition.”
Dawson added: “The business has transformed in the past two years and has recently been awarded two publicly funded network deployment contracts.
“This is a base to build from and accelerate our growth.”
