Mitel installs Silicon Valley vet as UC big wig

Mitel has pulled in Silicon Valley vet Tarun Loomba as EVP of Unified Communications Products and Solutions with a remit to lead the product strategy and delivery for Mitel’s private cloud, hybrid cloud and on-site solutions.

He was previously EVP of Products and Solutions at Polycom, now known as Poly.
 
Loomba held prior senior leadership roles at Seagate Technology, ParAccel, Armanta and SanDisk. 

At SanDisk he led the company’s $1bn client storage solutions business as VP & GM of Client Storage and Custom Flash Solutions. 

He has also held senior roles in product management, marketing and engineering at Cisco.

"Increased mobility, the cloud and other emerging technologies are enabling new, more seamless ways for teams to communicate and collaborate with each other and their customers.
