Martin Hess is stepping back from his CEO role at Telefónica Tech UK&I to focus on longer-term strategic growth and will be succeeded by former VP of Sales and Marketing Mark Gorton.
Gorton was involved in the transformation of CANCOM UK&I before its sale to Telefónica Tech in July 2021, and the recent acquisition of Incremental Group in March this year.
Changes to the senior management structure also see AWS EMEA GSI Partner Sales Lead Dominic Arcari hired as VP of Sales and Marketing. He has held senior sales positions at Fujitsu, Atos Origin, DXC and HPE.
Gorton said: “As an experienced sales leader, Dominic will play an important part in accelerating our continued growth in Cloud, Cyber Security, and Modern Workplace, and consolidating our position as a market leader in the UK and Ireland.”
