Eagle lands Purchasing Director role

Exertis has promoted Kati Eagle to UK purchasing director, reporting to Richard Hinds, Exertis UK&I, chief operating officer. Eagle steps up to the role, following Mark Kahr’s move to an Exertis Group position as global procurement director.

Eagle will be responsible for all aspects of UK purchasing including: core purchasing, vendor bids, contracts and product compliance.

“Kati has been instrumental in the day to day operations and development of the purchasing team. The last few years have been a period of significant growth for Exertis and Kati’s influence and impact both within the purchasing team and across the wider business have been huge. I have every confidence in her ability to assume overall responsibility for the procurement function and wish her every success in her new role,” said Hinds.

Eagle who has more than 22 years’ experience in the technology industry, joining Exertis more than five She has previously worked for Tech Data, Micro Peripherals and PC World and has extensive experience in procurement.
