Canon brings back Wills in key UK&I role

Canon has pulled in Tony Wills as Document Solutions Business Unit Director for UK&I, bringing over 35 years global industry and leadership experience across both the Corporate and SME environments, including time in Xerox, the reseller channel and 25 years in senior roles within Canon. 

He originally joined Canon in 1984 and has held various positions including General Manager of Corporate Accounts & Information Systems until he was appointed Marketing Director, Canon UK&I, in 1999. 

He then moved to Canon New Zealand as Managing Director in 2002 before taking up the role of Director & Senior General Manager, Canon Australia, between 2007 and 2009. 

For the last 11 years he has held external roles within the industry including his latest position of Commercial & Marketing Director for a UK reseller.

Yusuke Mizoguchi, Senior Managing Director, Canon UK & Ireland, said: “Tony’s international sales and marketing experience, spanning direct and indirect sales, will ensure he is able to deliver our strategic goals and drive growth in all areas of the Document Solutions organisation.”

Wills added: “ While the current environment is challenging for all, I see this as an ideal time to look to the future and make the necessary adjustments to the organisation.”
