Cable assembly firm CHH CoNeX has promoted densification as a solution to the 5G rollout barrier caused by a lack of real estate for more ports and cabinets.
Densification allows engineers to put more network resources into a single cabinet, avoiding the need to build more ports in urban areas where real estate is at a premium.
Kevin Wilcox, Sales Director at CHH CoNeX, said: "We are maximising rack space to expand capacity and accommodate ever increasing bandwidths and densities.
“Our recent designs demonstrate that it is possible to achieve greater capacity within traditional cabinet designs, with a bit of intelligent thinking.”
