MLL Telecom has bolstered its Managed Detection and Response service for the public sector by onboarding Sophos endpoint protection tools.
The vendor’s Intercept X endpoint solutions are central to MLL’s new subscription-based Cyber-security-as-a-Service offerings.
Through this process MLL’s cyber security architects have completed Sophos training and certification for Sophos Central Endpoint Protection and the Sophos Next Generation Firewall solution.
Ray Burke, MLL’s Senior Cyber Security Solutions Architect said: “With many Public Sector organisations moving to the Cloud and designing in a native cloud-first approach they are put at increased risk by an over reliance on the native security tools and endpoint products provided by cloud vendors.
“Leveraging Sophos, we can detect more cyberthreats than security tools can identify on their own, act within minutes to stop threats from causing disruption, and identify the root cause of threats to prevent future incidents, in turn reducing the attack surface of Public Sector clientele.”
