Cilix has become the latest reseller partner for the London Internet Exchange (LINX), taking two reseller ports at LINX in London to provider additional resilience and redundancy for customers.
The two reseller ports will be at the LON1 fabric and on LON2.
LINX operates a dual LAN infrastructure in London where many of the IXP member networks connect to both platforms in order to meet all the peers in London and have diverse routing options where needed.
Through the ConneXions Reseller Programme, Cilix can now offer its customer base peering services as well as LINX’s other interconnection offerings via a single cross connect.
These additional services include the exclusive Microsoft Azure Peering Service (MAPS) for optimised, low-latency connectivity to Microsoft cloud services, such as Teams, Office 365 and more.
Warren Hall, Network Architect at Cilix commented: “The reseller partnership enables us to provide our customers with internet exchange services, allowing them to build their own peering relationships with networks on the LINX platform.”
The LINX ConneXions Reseller Programme is designed to extend the reach of the exchange by enabling trusted partners like Cilix to offer access to LINX’s peering LANs for networks with no physical presence in a LINX enabled metro.
This collaboration not only enhances connectivity options for Cilix’s clients but also contributes to the growth and resilience of the global internet infrastructure.
Colin Peckham, Partner & Interconnection Specialist for LINX (pictured) added: “Our ethos is for the good of the internet, offering networks low latency services and routing options for the best connectivity possible.”
