Transparity clarifies growth plans with AMT buy

Beech Tree-backed MSP Transparity Solutions has snapped up Microsoft specialist AMT Evolve as it seeks to bolster its capabilities and double headcount to 300-plus employees over the next two years.

“We are looking at acquisitions like this to strengthen us in core areas such as Teams, Power Platform and SharePoint,” said CEO David Jobbins.

Adam Rudd, Director at Beech Tree, added: “The team has grown the business this year organically by 87% and is now adding acquisitions.”

AMT is a medium-sized Microsoft consultancy based in Hampshire, founded in 2004 by Colin Thorpe and James Butler.

Thorpe, MD at AMT, added: “Our customers regularly ask us to help on the wider Microsoft Cloud stack and joining Transparity means we can offer consultancy and managed services across the Microsoft Cloud end to end.”
