Online Systems has strengthened its IT expertise with the acquisition of west Cumbrian IT business Westcom IT Solutions.
Westcom Founder and MD Dave Purfield will remain with the business alongside all six employees.
He said: “As business communication solutions across IT and telephony services now merge together, integrating the businesses allows us to provide support in areas to our client base that traditionally we have been unable to.”
This move follows Online System’s recent acquisition of Whitethorn Communications, a telecommunications business based in Skipton.
MD Greg Morton said: “This acquisition combines two firms with complementary strengths and sector expertise.
“We hope that by offering an increasing range of products and technical expertise, we will continue to provide local businesses with support and advice essential for business profit and growth.”
