MITSG buys CCS to fuel aggressive growth strategy

Managed IT Services Group (MITSG) has notched its largest deal to date with the acquisition of CCS Group, bolstering its SME focused portfolio.

MITSG is a new Group headed ex-GCI employees and pulled together through director and private investment.

Its expansion strategy saw the acquisitions of IT Farm and Nexbridge Communications, in May and August 2021 respectively.

“This is the ideal time to announce ourselves as a new player on the UK managed services space and gives us the scale needed to aggressively target the UK small and medium business market,” said CFO Mark Allen.

“We believe SMEs in the UK, are currently poorly served with providers that are either too small to offer the full complement of IT services, or too big to care.”

COO Phil Smith added: “There will be further acquisitions by the group throughout 2022 to allow us to create depth and balance in our product and service portfolio.”
