Flotek bags tenth deal and enters hospitality sector Flotek Group's acquisition campaign has hit double figures with the purchase of IT and comms company Orbiss.
Truro-based Orbiss marks Flotek's tenth deal and strengthens its presence in the south west region, boosts headcount to 72 employees and increases revenue to £8.5m.
The transaction also signals Flotek's entrance into the hospitality sector, bringing Best Western and Holiday Inn as clients.
Flotek CEO Jay Ball has known Orbiss owners Karen McGowan and Karen Patterson for over 16 years.
He said: “The acquisition enables us to accelerate our foothold in the hospitality market across the UK and continue to grow our services as a managed IT and communications solutions provider in the south west.”
