Cisco boosts CXaaS with IMImobile acquisition

Cisco's ambitions in the CXaaS space are set to advance significantly following its acquisition of London-based software and services provider IMImobile for $730m.

Cisco says the deal will enable it to provide an end-to-end customer interaction management solution through the customer’s choice of channel.

IMImobile's software and services help businesses connect to customers through 'enhanced' interactive channels including social, messaging and voice.

LSE listed IMImobile has over 1,100 employees and offices across the UK, USA, Canada, India, South Africa and UAE.
