Flotek buy signals south west expansion

The acquisition of MazingTree sees Flotek further expand into the south west to cover Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall, in addition to the wider Wales area.

Flotek Group intends to triple in size of the next sixth months, spurred by the knowledge sharing and cross selling opportunities enabled by this acquisition.

Jay Ball, CEO and co-founder of Flotek Group, said: “We know how important having a dedicated IT provider with a local presence is to SMEs. This enables us to serve our existing clients in this region even more efficiently.”

MazingTree’s Technical Director John Allan will remain in the group and its technical team will integrate into the wider team

He said: “Joining Flotek gives us the resources we need to supercharge our client base and welcome more customers. Flotek’s cloud-focused approach offers new skills and opportunities for our team and clients alike.”

The buy marks the second deal in Flotek’s growth strategy, two months after the acquisition of Gower Business Systems.
