Accenture aims to swell UK team

Accenture is adding 3,000 new tech jobs in the UK over the next three years, with half to be created outside of London.

The new recruits will build on Accenture’s 11,00 strong workforce and expand the company’s presence in Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The new roles are being driven by increased client demand for services in cloud engineering, platforms, cybersecurity, data and intelligent operations.

Simon Eaves, Market Unit Lead, Accenture in the UK&I, said: “The UK economy is rebounding swiftly following the pandemic and we are seeing strong demand from clients seeking to capitalise on this growth opportunity.”

Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng added: “Today’s announcement is a vote of confidence in UK plc and shows that, backed up by a skilled workforce, the UK remains one of the best locations to expand and grow a business.”
