TalkTalk has teamed up with the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) to offer jobseekers six months of free broadband.
The voucher scheme is being rolled out nationwide to tackle digital exclusion following a trial in the north west.
"Wth the pandemic leading to a doubling of Universal Credit claimants within a year many people are struggling to access the Internet," said Chief People & Procurement Officer Daniel Kasmir.
TalkTalk is exploring options with schools and councils to adapt the scheme for other digitally excluded communities.
