MLL wins Northumbria Police contract

MLL Telecom has been awarded a three-year SD-WAN services contract by Northumbria Police, with the option to extend for a further four years.

The operator will replace the existing network used by around 5,300 police officers and staff. MLL will migrate existing data centres, critical HQs and office sites to the new network and implement a central firewall security solution.

The migration includes 75 sites with primary circuits and 75 secondary circuits. The delivery will involve collaboration with connectivity carriers including Vodafone.

Strategic Client Director Ross Billington, said: “This solution will support a wide range of digital requirements well into the future.”
