Smart IT laces up to support homelessness

Smart IT has been inspired by England’s Euros run and put together a team to take part in the Oasis Cup, a charity tournament organised by Oasis Community Housing, a national Christian charity supporting homeless people through the difficulties of life on the streets.

The tournament is taking place on September 17th at the Gateshead International Stadium and requires teams to pay £400 for entry, which will go towards creating access to housing and addressing homelessness.

Smart IT’s teams will be led by Telecoms Sales Manager Darryl Robinson who has selected the best players from Smart IT to try and secure the Oasis Cup.

He said: “It will be amazing to play at Gateshead International stadium and also raise vital funds that will help Oasis Community Housing continue to be a lifeline for people facing homelessness in our communities.”
