Air IT is headline sponsoring and taking part in the Derbyshire Cricket Foundation’s T20 Walkathon on the 2nd July to raise funds for community projects, such as the foundation’s summer holiday camp.
The 20-mile walk will start at Incora County Ground and wind through Derby’s beauty sports and cricket clubs, ending back at the ground where participants will be able to watch a T20 match between Derbyshire Falcons and Worcestershire Rapids. There will also a be smaller five-mile route with a later smart time.
“The sponsorship and support of Air IT will help us to deliver a summer programme, providing both physical activity and food provision to children within Derby,” said Richard Wood, Head of the Derbyshire Cricket Foundation.
James Healey, COO at Air IT, added: “Twenty Miles is a long distance after a year of staying at home, but the teams are up for the challenge!”
