Vodafone commits to upskilling 800,000 UK SMEs

Vodafone’s business.connected initiative has been extended for a further three years with a commitment to upskill 800,000 SMEs in that time.

To date, over 100,000 SMEs have utilised the initiative, launched in May 2021 to provide free courses teaching digital skills to SME businesses with between 0 – 250 employees.

Sage and Zym will join existing partners Cisco and Samsung and Enterprise Nation to offer learning curriculum covering managing an online business, digital marketing and cybersecurity.

 “Small businesses are at the forefront of British enterprise and this scheme from Vodafone shows the power the private sector can have to help many achieve new levels of innovation and success,” said Small Business Minister Jane Hunt MP.
