A multi-million-pound connectivity deal between ITS Technology Group (ITS) and Hammersmith and Fulham Council has kicked off with the planned roll out of full fibre to local businesses.
The area is thought to be one of the most heavily populated media boroughs in the UK.
"No matter if businesses are looking for 100Mbps or 10Gbps connection speeds, this new network can support business requirements with uncontended circuits, uncapped data usage and 24-hour support," said Lisa Harding, Head of Strategic Partnerships at ITS.
"Full fibre leased lines also enable businesses to take advantage of other services including VoIP, Office 365, desktop video conferencing, secure Virtual Private Networks, CCTV monitoring and faster data backups.
"With 19km of existing duct and fibre to be tapping into, this will ensure costs are kept competitive and disruption kept to a minimum during installation."
