Indigo Telecom is to ramp up its M&A activity on the back of an investment by Growth Capital Partners (GCP). Following a management buyout led by CEO Stephen Thompson (pictured) in 2016 the business kicked off an M&A strategy with its first acquisition, Belcom247, a provider of data centre connectivity solutions.
Thompson commented: “It was clear from our early meetings with the GCP team that they fully understood and were supportive of our plans for growth including a number of future acquisitions."
Richard Shaw, Partner GCP added: “The group provides critical infrastructure support to an impressive roster of international network operators and technology enterprises. We are partnering with the Indigo team to support the next phase of accelerated growth.”
