Sky report flags up potential acquisition of 4Com by Daisy

Daisy founder Matthew Riley is on the cusp of signing a £215m deal to acquire Bournemouth-based 4Com, according to a Sky News report.

If it went ahead the transaction would add circa 17,000 business customers and net 4Com founder Daron Hutt an estimated £100m-plus windfall.

Sky sources suggest that a deal could be signed 'within days' and that Daisy's main motivation behind the bid is 4Com's cloud comms product called HiHi.

4Com itself has undertaken an acquisition drive that has added over 6,000 customers.
