Manx Telecom Chief Technology and Information Officer Kevin Paige has been appointed Chairman of the Institute of Telecommunications Professionals (ITP) Board of Directors
He takes over from Lucy Woods who served on the board for 15 years.
ITP CEO Crissi Williams said: "Lucy has helped steer the ITP into the strong position it's in today, offering members training, seminars and professional development opportunities.
"Kevin brings with him over 20 years of knowledge and experience in the industry, and we are looking forward to his input in the next phase of our development."
Paige added: "I have enjoyed a very successful career to date in an industry I am passionate about and which continues to change at a rapid pace.
"The chance to help shape and guide the future of the ITP to adapt and evolve in this fast-changing environment is a key interest for me.
"This role resonates well with me to be able to give something back to an organisation which supported my first entry point into the industry."
