Akixi kicks off busy year with smartphone app launch

Crawley-based call management and call centre analytics company Akixi has focused down on key investment areas for 2018 and kicked off a series of cloud-based software updates with the launch of a smartphone app that enables users to view Akixi wallboards on Android and iOS mobile devices.

Alarms activated against specific call statistics are raised via audible or vibration alerts.

The company has also introduced financial statistics to its reports, a feature that caused a stir last October at BroadSoft's Connections event where it was first unveiled.

The feature shows the monetary value of calls waiting, calls answered and calls abandoned and adds deeper insights when used in conjunction with Akixi's wallboards.

Akixi's MD Bart Delgado said: "The ability to see revenue in the queue is powerful as money is a massive motivator for individuals and commission-based teams."

In other developments, Akixi has extended its data storage offering and customers on the BroadWorks platform can show their business's department IDs in extension lists and other reports, noted Delgado.

"We're constantly reviewing where we are, where we want to be and what we need to do differently or better," he added.

"This year is particularly exciting with more product enhancements and new marketing initiatives in the pipeline."
