A layer 2 cellular Ethernet solution provided by Pangea has been incorporated into Virtual1's network.
The service has a single and multi-network capability and gives Virtual1 control of IP addressing.
"Cellular Ethernet can be instantly deployed wherever, whenever, and however customers need it, whether for primary connectivity on a remote or temporary site, pre-Ethernet, or adding an extra layer of resiliency as an on-demand backup," stated Pangea MD Dan Cunliffe.
Neil Wilson, Virtual1’s Head of Products & Marketing, added: “We wanted to bring a cellular product into our portfolio for a while, but it was critical to make sure that it worked in harmony with our wider proposition.”
