Pangea set for century

M2M and IoT connectivity and solutions provider Pangea has reported a 19 per cent increase in revenue and is predicting 40% growth next year.

Since the appointment of former Telefonica channel chief Bernie McPhillips in April, the company has seen substantial growth in its partner programme and predicts 100 active partners will have signed up by the end of 2017.

Pangea claims the results demonstrate a growing channel appetite for M2M from partners seeking to differentiate themselves in the supply of fully managed global connectivity solutions.

"The results we are achieving speak for themselves, we are growing quickly and have forged strategic partnerships with many of the Channel's key and forward-thinking organisations," said McPhillips.

"The buzz about this place is incredible and the feeling of 'we're all in this together' is truly inspiring. We work exclusively with reseller partners and we believe we are now the channel's choice for IoT.

"We have some amazingly exciting opportunities that we are working on. The rest of 2017 is shaping up to be incredible and 2018 will be simply phenomenal. I am proud of what the team achieved prior to me coming onboard, the foundations were already there for us to build on and I am pleased to have made a positive difference."

McPhillips believes the word 'partners' is not a euphemism for 'externally contracted employees', but rather a relationship built on give and take, where the risks and profits are shared amongst the associated parties.

"I have lived and breathed this partnering culture for more than a decade and I know what it takes to win and importantly wants to share successes with like-minded partners," he added.
