Following an internal review in 2021, which identified 120 remedial actions, Virtual1 has reworked the entire 1Cloud pricing model.
The review concluded that the 1Cloud pricing model and processes needed to be brought into line with Virtual1's sharper focus on products
This has led to a root and branch overhaul of the cloud resource commercial model with a move to tariff based, formalised discounting, and revision of its contracted offering.
Mark Walker, Head of Commercial at Virtual1, said: “Along with the new model, we have also decreased software license fees on the platform and it is still free to connect to your server infrastructure privately and securely when using Virtual1 connectivity services.”
